Facebook and Instagram advertising

Meta Ads in Bermuda: Facebook and Instagram advertising that is measured

Your customers are probably on Facebook or Instagram, and a boosted post is the easiest way to spend money there without knowing what it bought. I run Meta Ads as a monthly package: the campaign, the audience, the images and copy, the tracking, and a plain report of what came in. This is advertising, not social media management.

The problem

Boosting a post is not a campaign.

The boost button is built to spend money quickly. It picks a broad audience, sends people to your profile rather than a page that lets them book or ask, and reports likes. None of that says whether anyone called.

A campaign starts from what you want people to do, who is likely to do it, and where they land when they tap. Then it is tracked, so the next month’s budget goes to what worked.

Monthly packages

Three packages. Standard is where I suggest starting.

Each package is a fixed monthly fee with the scope written down. It covers the advertising only, not daily posting to your page. Ask about pricing and the fees come back in writing, followed by a proposal. Ad spend is paid directly to the platform by you.

One campaign, one offer

Essential

A single Facebook and Instagram campaign for the thing you most want to sell.

  • One Meta campaign across Facebook and Instagram
  • Up to 3 new ad images a month, from stock or AI
  • Ads sent to an existing page on your site
  • Tracking of form inquiries and messages
  • One-page monthly report

Priority

Three campaigns, with real photography and video of your business.

  • Three campaigns in total, across any channels
  • Real photo and video from a half-day shoot each quarter
  • One new landing page a quarter
  • Your existing follow-up system kept running
  • One-page monthly report
Ask about Priority

Setup, one time. Covers setting up or reviewing your Meta ad account and Business Manager, audience research, writing the ads, building the campaign, and tracking. An existing account that needs a lot of untangling is quoted before anything starts.

Every package is month to month with 30 days’ notice. The ad and email accounts are set up in your business’s name, with you as the owner. You approve every ad and email before it goes out, with one round of changes. The first 90 days are for learning what works and improving it.

About the images. On Essential and Standard, ad images come from stock libraries or are made with AI. They set a mood only: they never show invented staff, customers, premises, finished jobs or products, and AI images are labelled where Meta requires it. On Priority, the shoot and the new page begin after your third month.

What the work involves

The campaign, the creative and the tracking, looked after.

  • Ad account setup or reviewYour Meta Business Manager and ad account set up in your name, or an existing one checked for wasted spend and broken settings.
  • Audience researchWho in Bermuda is likely to buy, by location, age and interest, and who to leave out.
  • Campaigns built for an actionCampaigns set up for the result you want, an inquiry, a booking or a message, rather than likes.
  • Ad images and copyImages and words written for a phone screen, approved by you before anything runs.
  • TrackingThe Meta pixel and conversions set up on your site, so you know which ads brought in inquiries.
  • Monthly optimisationWeak ads replaced, audiences adjusted and budget moved to what is working.
  • A recommended spendA written view of how much is worth spending and where.
  • Plain monthly reportingWhat was spent, what came in, what changed and what is next, on one page.

How it works

Start from what you want people to do.

  1. A free review

I look at your Facebook and Instagram presence, any past boosts or campaigns, and the page an ad would send people to. You get the findings in writing.

    Findings in writing

  2. Fees in writing, then a proposal

Ask about pricing and the package fees come back in writing. A proposal follows with the campaigns, a recommended spend, the terms and what is excluded. Nothing starts until you approve it in writing.

  3. Setup, then monthly care

Tracking is tested before any budget is spent. Then the campaign goes live and is adjusted month by month, with a one-page report of spend, inquiries and changes.

Who it is for

A good fit looks like this.

  • A Bermuda business that sells to the public: restaurants, studios, clinics, retail, tourism and events
  • Boosted posts that get likes but not calls
  • An offer that photographs well or can be explained in a sentence
  • Capacity to take on the work the ads bring in

Not included

Listed here, and again on every proposal.

  • Ongoing social posting, content calendars and replying to comments, because this is not social media management
  • Ad spend, which is paid directly to Meta from your account
  • Guaranteed reach, clicks or results
  • Photography and video, except on Priority

The ad account and Business Manager are in your business’s name, with you as the owner. If we ever part ways, the account, its history and its audiences stay with you.

Questions businesses ask first

Before you spend on Facebook and Instagram ads

Do you manage my Facebook and Instagram pages?

No. Meta Ads is advertising, not social media management. I build and run the paid campaigns. Day-to-day posting, content calendars and replying to comments are not offered, and I will say so and point you to someone who does it well if you need them.

How much do Facebook and Instagram ads cost in Bermuda?

There are two parts. The ad spend is set by you and paid directly to Meta. The management is a monthly package at one of three levels, plus a one-time setup fee. Ask about pricing and the fees come back in writing.

Will you use AI images in my ads?

On Essential and Standard, images come from stock or are made with AI. They set a mood only and never show invented staff, customers, premises, finished jobs or products. Where Meta requires AI images to be labelled, they are. Priority includes real photo and video of your business.

Should I advertise on Meta or Google?

Google catches people already searching for what you do. Meta reaches people who are not searching yet but match your customers. Running one of each is often worth trying, which is what the Standard package allows.

Is there a minimum contract?

No. Packages are month to month with 30 days’ notice. The first 90 days are for learning what works, but you are not bound to them.
